I was born in Georgetown, Guyana, the youngest of ten children. In 1988, my family immigrated to the United States in search of better opportunities.
After completing my education and building a successful career in orthopedics, I led a dramatic $175K-to-$2M territory transformation at OsteoMed. During my tenure, I was honored with several top awards, including:

– Multi-Million Dollar Club Achiever
– Presidents Advisory Council Selectee
Along the way, I saw a critical gap in the market-a need for highly responsive, specialized surgical support tailored specifically for foot and ankle procedures.
I founded MMFAS in 2016 with a vision: to offer a more agile, attentive, and surgeon-focused solution. Our goal is to elevate the surgical experience by anticipating needs, streamlining support, and delivering excellence in the OR.
I hold a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, a discipline that instilled in me a deep commitment to problem-solving, precision, and innovation. This technical foundation continues to inform every aspect of my work in surgical solutions.
While metrics and technology matter, true success comes down to people-real relationships, real follow-through, and being there when it counts. I believe the best partnerships are built on trust, consistency, and shared commitment.
I’m a proud father of three amazing children-Nikolas, Jordynn, and Carter-and a devoted dog dad to Kasper, Astro, and Brooklyn. My family-first mindset shapes how I lead, how I serve, and how I live. I bring that same care and accountability into every partnership at MMFAS.

Currently a senior at Rutgers Business School, where I have maintained a place on the Dean’s List every semester, I bring a unique, multicultural perspective to my role as a MediquinMedical representative. Growing up in a medical family, with my father working as a DPM in Brooklyn, I’ve been exposed to the healthcare field from a young age. I spent half of my life in Europe, living in Latvia and Cyprus, and I’m fluent in English, Russian, and Latvian, with some knowledge of Greek. These experiences have shaped my ability to adapt, communicate, and thrive in diverse environments.
Having joined the company just three months ago, I am still green in the industry, but my eagerness to learn and improve every day keeps me motivated. My passion for cars and traveling helps me stay driven and open to new opportunities and challenges, and I take pride in being detail-oriented and committed to professional growth. I’m excited to leverage my background and skills to make a meaningful impact in the medical sales field.
Roberto Filipo Hinostroza
Associate Territory Manager
Roberto is an aspiring medical device professional with a solid academic background and hands-on industry experience. He holds a Associate Degree in Business and is pursuing a Bachelor in Media from Queens College, NY and completed industry upper extremity orthopedic training in Portland, Oregon, in 2024.
During his academic journey, Roberto gained practical experience through internships at OmniMedical in Ecuador, where he supported logistics and distribution operations for orthopedic implants. His exposure to global healthcare systems thanks to family and interest has fueled his commitment to improving patient care through innovation and education.
Roberto is a former varsity basketball player, bringing teamwork, discipline, and leadership to every role. He is fluent in English and Spanish and is passionate about bridging the gap between healthcare professionals and cutting-edge medical technologies.

My name is Maya Jones, and I recently graduated from Union College, where I competed as a Division 1 ice hockey player and spent three years researching the genetic underpinnings of obesity. Competing at the highest level of athletics taught me resilience, discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure, while my research experience strengthened my analytical skills, attention to detail, and passion for advancing health outcomes. Together, these experiences shaped my drive to excel and reinforced my commitment to making a meaningful impact in healthcare.
I was drawn to medical device sales because it blends my background in science with my passion for connecting with people in meaningful ways. I’m energized by the opportunity to contribute to an industry that constantly innovates and delivers technologies that improve patients’ lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, playing golf, and getting outdoors whenever I can.

My name is Amanda Rizzo, I am a motivated and results driven professional with a strong foundation in healthcare and a passion for medical device sales. With a background in X-ray and clinical environments, I bring a solid understanding of patient care, anatomy, and the fast paced dynamics of working alongside healthcare teams.
I recently completed a comprehensive medical sales training program, where I gained in depth knowledge of orthopedic procedures, operating room protocol, and how to effectively support surgeons and clinical staff. This experience strengthened my ability to think critically, adapt quickly, and perform under pressure.
In addition to my clinical background, my experience in insurance sales has allowed me to develop strong communication, relationship building, and business development skills.
